About Fundiswa Kepeyi:

I hold a Diploma in Library and Information Science from the University of the Western Cape, a diploma in Project Management with Varsity College and currently a Bachelor of Information Science with UNISA . My formal training also includes; Knowledge Management (UNISA), Records Management, AIIM Specialist Course & Electronic Records Management Design.

I am a professional, organised, systematic person with great interpersonal skills which allows me to interact effectively with colleagues and employees from a leadership, diplomatic collaborative and assertive level when required. I have vast experience in various related roles i.e. Librarian, Records Manager, Resource Centre Manager, Researcher and Information officer.

My major strengths entail establishing and maintaining library management systems across all areas of operations i.e. Knowledge Management, people management, resource centre management, records management, library systems, cataloguing & classification, business analysis, library standards, policies & procedures as well as training.

I have a strong business and IT acumen and understand the importance of setting up an efficient Records Management Program that is well organised, easily referenced and can be accessed easily manually and on-line through a well- planned classification system. My extensive information management, facilitation, coordination and administration experience equips me well to fulfil the advertised role.

The information management systems that I am familiar with are SAP, IBM Content Manager & Records Manager, SharePoint, InMagic, Opentext Content Server and the following databases: Who owns Whom In SA, Sabinet Online, McGregor BFA, Factiva, Hoovers, Introye/Protrack, Lexisnexis and Gartner.

I am a very proactive communicator and that makes change management easier for me to execute with respect to introducing new and innovative ways of implementing projects and processes.
