I am currently appointed as a Chief Accountant Strategy and Corporate Planning by the City of Ekurhuleni. The summaries of duties include:

• Provide support  for  the Organisational Performance Monitoring and Evaluation in ensuring effective planning and implementation of all projects and programmes of the Division
• Efficiently manage and drive the data collection, indicator technical consultations, portfolio of evidence verification including related monitoring and evaluation programmes to ensure timebound accomplishment and quality output results.
• Lead and manage administrators and interns and make certain efficient performance management at assignments undertaken.
• Define and review controls criteria to ensure efficiency on programmes and project relating to monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
• Prepare and deliver detailed onsite visit, quarterly and annual performance reports in line with the Organisational Performance Monitoring and Evaluation policies and procedures.
• Support the divisions to ensure targets, outputs, and outcomes are met and achieved timeously.
• Coordinate and provide support to all Internal Audit and External Audit (AGSA) led audits.
• Observe compliance with the city’s procedure on performance and assist to departments to manage risks for non-performance. 
• Implore input on the city strategies, policies and procedures to improve service delivery performance.
• Provide training on reporting compliance practices and procedures across the city.
• Identify any compliance risks and engage relevant department to take immediate remedial action. 
• Monitor any changes to processes that may have an impact on compliance to legislation and report these to the divisional head and head of strategy.
