Monitoring of all of the activities for compliance with the various environmental requirements contained in the Standard Environmental Specification
❖ Inspecting the Site and surrounding areas regularly to compliance with the Environmental Specification
❖ Liaise with the Client Environmental Officer and Environmental Control Officer
❖ Co-ordinate and conduct Environmental Audits
❖ Monitoring of compliance with other relevant environmental legislation
❖ Development of requisite environmental Method Statements
❖ Keeping records of all activities/ incidents concerning the environment on site
❖ Compile weekly environmental talk topics
❖ Implementation and management of environmental protection measures
❖ Routine recording and reporting of environmental activities on a daily basis
❖ Conduct Environmental induction and Environmental Awareness Training course to the staff
❖ Ensuring that activities on site comply with Environmental legislation and OHS Act
❖ Coordinate Environmental Awareness initiatives
❖ Co-ordination and implementation of all company Safety, Health and Environmental procedures along with any specific client requirements
❖ Co-ordination and implementation of all applicable SHE legislative requirements
❖ Co-ordination and implementation of training to ensure that all made aware of the hazards associated with their work and that all reasonable measures are implemented to reduce these risks
❖ Co-ordination and implementation that all construction activities are carried out under the control and supervision of competent supervisors
❖ Co-ordination and implementation that all contractors adhere to the health and safety requirements of the contract
❖ Ensure that all reasonable steps are taken to prevent air pollution, water pollution, ground pollution and noise pollution from the work activities
❖ Co-ordination and implementation that all injuries and incidents are reported and investigated in the appropriate manner and those suitable measures are implemented to prevent re-occurrences
❖ Assist the appointed Construction Work Supervisor in ensuring that all applicable safety requirements are adhered to on the project
❖ Ensure that workers in hazardous environments are made aware of the potential hazards and of precautions
❖ Ensure that workers in hazardous environment are issued with appropriate personal protective equipment
