I have since gained extensive hands-on 
experience in the cost engineering field
over the years. As a cost professional, I am 
skilled and equipped in amongst others, 
project cost estimating, cost control and 
monitoring, cost forecasting and 
reporting. At present, I have managed 
capital budgets ranging from R 1 million 
to R 1 billion. Furthermore, I am fully 
versed with New Engineering Contracts 
used in projects environment for 
contracting. My application of SAP 
Project System and MS Excel are at an 
advanced level, making it easy for me to 
integrate well in ever pressurized project 
environment. I have consistently displayed a commitment to growth and 
development and have worked 
diligently to hone my skills and expertise, 
while remaining abreast of 
developments in my field. My Bachelor

Preparation and presentation of estimating notes and all other documents required for permission submission purpose.
Produce the estimate based on the agreed methodology and job specification.
Review each estimate with the project engineers or planners, to confirm that corr
ect estimating methodology has been used and agree the quality and accuracy 
of the estimate and contingency levels if appropriate.
Ensure that an appropriate level of cost estimating information / data is available
for the different classes of cost estimate accuracy.
Develop a work breakdown structure that allows a logical roll-up of costs to 
establish the total cost of the project.
Manage and disburse project budgets and costs.
Monitor and control the costs through data analyses in order to advise the Project 
Manager to take timely corrective action.
Prepare time-phased cash flow schedules for projects.
Prepare and present detailed monthly status reports.
