Currently, I hold the position of Procurement Graduate at Rand Refinery. This role places a strong emphasis on honing outstanding communication skills through regular monthly presentations, as well as fostering meticulous attention to detail evident in the analytical reports I compile and present. 

My role involves various responsibilities to ensure efficient procurement operations:

• I manage the end-to-end procurement process, including creation, processing, and tracking of purchase orders using SAP.
• Collaborating with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and expediting when necessary to maintain optimal timelines.
• Resolving queries in collaboration with the finance department to ensure accuracy and accountability.
• Contributing to cycle stock counts to enhance inventory accuracy and availability.
• Providing monthly procurement analytics reports for informed decision-making.
• Handling administrative tasks such as updating vendor management systems, preparing RFQs, and tender documents.
• Negotiating prices to achieve cost savings while upholding quality standards.
• Identifying and sourcing suppliers aligned with procurement strategic goals.
• Managing procurement of both stock and non-stock items.
• Ensuring consistent adherence to SOPs to promote compliance and efficiency.
