I am a qualified teacher with more that 15 years teaching Four years I spent teaching in the United Kingdom in  London where after a day's work at school I worked as an English and Mathematics Tutor driving to learners houses teaching them on a one to one I was teaching from Year 1 to Sixth Form .I came across of slow learners and foreign learners whose mother tongue was not English They were learners from Somalia, India ,China and Jamaica tutoring these learners gave me a lot of insight on how foreign learners learn English and what their learning difficulties were and how I could help them in the tutoring process to make sure they achieve the best 

I last worked full time in November 2021 where I was working as a teacher at Cafda School of Skill in Retreat a coloured suburb here in Cape Town .This was a special school where I was teaching learners who have been withdrawn from mainstream schools because of challenging behaviour and their Curriculum is based more on subjects that will equip them with skills like hairdressing, woodwork, sewing and cooking 

I hold a B.A in Human Ecology a 4 year degree in Education from the University of the Western Cape in Cape Town ,South Africa This degree qualifies me to teach in High School specializing to teach Food Technology and Textile Technology as Design and Technology subjects .When I was teaching in England I studied for a year ,wrote and passed Gcse in English and Mathematics through the AQA British Examining Board I also passed the Gcse Equivalence Tests in English and Mathematics that was set for foreign teachers through Goldsmith London University
