My name is Elizabeth Mosidi Mafisa, who is dedicated and dependable individual who possesses excellent communication skills in reading, writing and speaking. I am self-motivated, goal oriented, hardworking honest person. I see myself as a person who easily identifies obstacles, taking them as challenges and find her way towards overcoming them. Experience
As a graduate school candidate in the field of molecular microbiology, I am skilled with five years’ experience as a student assistant in laboratory work while doing my own research in water analysis. My duties as a laboratory assistant include (sterility, water testing and produce quality results). This enabled me to develop relevant skills in research and student assistantship by collecting samples from a variety of locations and to be responsible for ensuring the proper handling of all testing samples. I always gained experience in bacterial isolation from water samples and to grow microbial growth from media. I have acquired skills by characterizing molecular genus specific genes by DNA Extraction and PCR (POLYMERASE CHAIN REACTION).
Education
I have obtained BSc degree in Biology and Chemistry at the North-West University (Mafikeng Campus) and acquired skills in Molecular laboratory techniques while doing Honors and Master’s degree at the same university.
