• Tunneling – Conventional and trackless underground 
and surface tunnels 
• Board and Pillars; cut and fill
• Stopping – Longwall Mining. Deep level mining hard 
rock, development – large excavations
• Primary and Secondary support – Anchors, trusses, wire 
mesh & lace, shotcrete, fibrecrete, TSL and gunnite 
• Construction underground – Civils underground and 
surface, construction of vent doors & seals, brattices, 
vent curtains and ducting
• Main fan – force and auxiliary fans; construction and 
installing
• Pump installations – submersible and vertical spindle 
pumps, pump chambers, french drains and dam walls 
• All air and water pipe installations – all services, drain 
columns, water reticulation, boxing and pinning
• Travelling way, waiting place and refuge bays
• Grizzlies – Main and Intermediate Grizzlies, main tips 
and installation and foundation of rock breakers 
• Box Fronts – Radial arms, ball and chain installation 
and construction
• Installation of Steel cranes (10 tons)
• Installation of reinforcing, bunt walls and hydro carbon 
tanks
