Hi my name is Hannes.

I have 10 years of experience in the petrochemical plants as a RIGGER ROPESMAN.

Since 2018 I have been working all around the coal mines assisting them to keep their lifting tackle up to the 

Sans 2972: 2018 and doing rigging work for them.

Where I assist to replace head,tail,take_up & snub pulleys by means of chain block work and creating my own hooking points by using the existing structure around such pulley's. 

I have also worked out a 15 step rigging plan on how to perform certain rigging tasks for the Sasol coal mines as well for outside clients in our area.I also assist the mines with alignments of any size of conveyor belt systems , take up trolleys ( to tension up conveyor system ) conveyor counterweight system, installation & services of Dymot winches from a 5000M up to a 13000M winches.

Installation and verification of sheave wheels installation on these winches, verification of winch ropes installed on winches is the rope the correct type of WIRE Rope sling installed, is the correct type of rope clips installed, is the rope clips torqued on the correct settings following the OEM standards for that particular size. 

Then I also assist the mines in their crusher plants with rigging out & in ring gears,ringbrakers, shutes , different types of vibrating screens , cyclones,pypes lines , structure supports etc.

I also assist the LMI to set up the working area and slinging methods for different types of LOAD TESTS that he needs to perform.

Such as overhead cranes ( single girders , double girders & Underslung overhead cranes of various OEM'S.)

Testing of various makes and sizes of mobile Cranes. 

Testing of beams with an overhang and ones without an overhang are also different sizes.

Load Testing and safe declaration of HI-UP jobs that have been mounted on trucks and trailers.

Installation and safe declaration of life lines .

Information and safe declaration of 4 post car lifts as well as the 2 post car lifts.
