We, Rudi and Christine/CJ Prinsloo, would like to hereby apply for the Management Couple position that is available. Please find attached are our CV's for your consideration. 

We would, as a couple, be able to assist with the smooth running of the Guesthouse/Lodge as well as maintaining an exceptionally high satisfaction rating on social media platforms. We could be fully responsible for all aspects of all departments. 

We would ensure the premises are in operative condition ready to receive and serve the guests. Ensure that all maintenance on the premises of the guesthouse is done as needed and the premises is always neat and clean. 

We have management, guest liason & strong admin skills, ordering & stock control, marketing, housekeeping, reservations, hospitality functions experience, including knowledge of Microsoft Office programs & Hospitality programmes such as Nightsbridge. We too have experience in Sage and Quickbooks. 

What can we as The Prinsloo Power Couple bring to your business? 

• Over 10 years experience in managing positions or similar roles handling the entire entity of guesthouses (accommodation and/or restaurants). We're willing to relocate. 

• Customer oriented approaches 

• Excellent communication and leadership skills 

• Critical thinkers and problem-solving skills 

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and POS systems. 

• We monitor the productivity level of employees. We maintain positive attitudes and we take initiative to get the job done. We are committed to producing quality work. 

• Ensure that customers are satisfied with food and service at all times 

• Adhere to food, health, and safety standards, policies and guidelines. 

• Floor management - responsible for running the floor during service. (Restaurant) This includes guiding and coaching the staff, solving guest complaints, and ensuring that we are providing excellent service. 

• Assisting with administrative work - organizing stockrooms, scheduling staff, and various other tasks. 

• Reservations 

• Processing payments 

• offering hospitable service to all our hotel guests 

• Supervise housekeeping 

• Check in and out of guests 

• Assist with breakfast, lunch or dinner (we live to cook) 

• familiar with social media marketing and advertising and assist with planning and executing marketing events. 

We are looking for the opportunity to join an experienced & competent team, with the view for growth & development.
We strong team players, able to motivate & develop our colleagues. We are socially adept and able to deal with a diverse range of foreign and local guests. 

We own a house in Ficksburg. We also own a reliable vehicle. We have 3 amazing children who have only known the hospitality industry. Ages 12, 5 and soon to be 3. Our 12 year old is currently busy with homeschooling. We are very family orientated and enjoy being together. Unexpected events caused our whole lives to be turned upside down. We find ourselves in a situation of making major changes in order for us to give our kids an opportunity of a good future. We are willing to relocate.
