Cheyenne Symons

I am a very passionate young lady who really enjoys trying new and interesting things no matter what difficulties I run into along the way. I know that I only have one life and I would rather use this life to learn and try new things rather than living with what ifs. I have gone from province to province and even moved countries with my family to see what other opportunities are out there for me and have loved every part of it.

I lived with my family in Wuhan China for four years while I was in high-school and ended up finishing my last year of high-school during the COVID-19 outbreak. During the outbreak I had to learn how to do schoolwork remotely through Zoom, the CANVAS platform, and Microsoft Teams. Once I finished high school at the end of 2021 my family and I moved back to South Africa and I started University, to which I finished my first year of my Bachelor of Arts degree and started working.

I have been waitressing for almost two years now, I have also worked as a cashier for about 6 months and am now currently working as a cocktail waitress for events.

I myself, would still like to study further in the coming years as I believe the world is forever changing and we need to change with it.

I value those around me, what they have been through and who they are as a person. I enjoy learning new things and pride myself on the way that I face challenges head on and being able to keep my composure through everything that I do. I would like to carry on studying and pursue my passion and love for animals by working with them in the future. I would like to either study Zoology or go through a ranger course so that I am able to work with and help animals through my work.
