About Cheryl Wigg:

I have approximately 30 years of experience in both business and IT, mainly in banking and insurance. I have been privileged to work with some exceptional companies like Standard Bank, AIG, Alexander Fobes, SA Taxi and Sapiens; primarily in delivery and leadership roles.

That said, I am looking for a change. A role where I can give back to society, preferably working with children and/or young people.  I love writing, (Journalism Degree); I am passionate about coaching and mentoring and would love to explore opportunities that can put my skills and experience to work.

Experience

Results driven C-level professional whose 18+ years’ experience in software delivery is underpinned by 10 years in business.

Proven record both in running multi-national accounts as Programme Director for an award winning Insurance software provider; as well as end-to-end delivery of large, global enterprise programmes; with specific expertise in Financial Services and Insurance.

Key strengths in building relationships; strategic thinking; adapting to change and stakeholder management at all levels, combined with a "fit-for-purpose" approach to delivery.
