I have been in the group insurance industry for 26 years.I started my pricing career at Sanlam where I processed quotes which entailed gathering and analysing all relevant information needed to produce a new business tender utilising the current pricing tools. 5 years later I accepted a quality checker position at Old Mutual in the Pricing department (the same as Sanlam). The job entailed performing quality checks on new business schemes processed by junior staff and assessing risk rates taking into account the technical rates, the profitability of claims experience while considering occupational and industry risks. 6 years later I moved to Momentum where I was still involved in quality assurance of new business but got involved in checking annual renewals and performing profit share calculations. Over the years I got involved in ad-hoc projects within the Pricing area and building and improving current processes. I am currently a Team Leader and amongst others, do monthly reporting and ensure that authorisation protocols are adhered to. I have and will always be passionate about pricing.

I graduated at University of Western Cape in 2014 with an Advanced Diploma in Managed Cum Laude.
