About Cameron Pappiah:

Dear sir/mam,

Firstly, I would like to thank you for taking the time to read this letter. I am excited at the thought of a new opportunity.  Given the chance here is why I believe I would be an excellent candidate for the position offered.
Graduating from Durban university of Technology I hold a BHScMOP Degree of Bachelor of Health Science in Medical Orthotics and Prosthetics. Additionally, achieving the International Golden key award for finishing in the top 10%. I am an ambitious and determined person so this career path allows me to test my set of skills, as well as to learn and grow.
With close to 5 years of intense training, practice and exposure in the field of orthotics and prosthetics, I have gained more experience than most would in this period of time. I work for the leading hospital in South Africa seeing  the average of 60 patients a month. I have the dual role of being clinician and technician affording me exceptional industry knowledge in my field of work. My skill set allows for me to be well trained in sewing, leather work, braising, plaster cast modification, plastic molding and lamination, just to name a few. My expertise in practice is broad as I hope to make a difference with as many people as possible.
Furthermore, my role as a clinician allows me to experience one on one interaction with my patients which I believe is the most important aspect in this job. I have worked with the widest range of patients who have presented a varied range of disabilities. Assessing and evaluating their situation so I can provide the best possible outcome and ensure optimal use of new prosthetic or orthotic devices. I work as part of a team serving as team leader, customizing and collaborating on personalized treatments for individual patients, developing plans as well as treatment goals. This work extends into clinic work around the country, providing care and necessary treatment for patients who can’t travel or don’t have access to the right medical devices.
I believe that the skills and experiences I have gained will allow me to be an asset to your team. I hope to be given the opportunity to further grow and develop alongside you. Additionally, my curriculum vitae has all other required information. Thank you in advance for your consideration.

Warm regards,
Cameron Pappiah
