Bote Mkwanazi

Bote Mkwanazi is a passionate Maths Teacher, who understands that everything revolves around Maths and Technology; and that every learner given enough time and attention can learn. I started teaching FET Maths from 2013 – 2015 & 2023 till now. Currently I’m working temporarily at SPARK Randburg High School as a Maths Educator, and before then I worked at private school called Calling Academy as a Maths, CAT and Coding & Robotics Educator.
Bote is a co-founder of the organisation that is called Microciety that is helping learners from grade 8-12 with Maths. I studied Information Technology from the University of North West (Vaal Triangle Campus) and studied Bachelors of Science (Honors) in Computer Sciences and Information Systems from NWU. I hold Data Science Certificate from Explore Data Science Academy and PGCE from UNISA.
I have more than 9 years of experience in Teaching and four (4) years of experience in Information Technology.
I strongly believe that my hands-on experience coupled with the growing knowledge I gained during my studies and during field work prepared me to can make a solid contribution in Mathematics for all grades.
With a solid foundation in research, I’m always prepared to put my knowledge and abilities to deliver the best results in everything that I do, while gaining immeasurable experience and skills in my career pursuit. I’m self- motivated, goal orientated, driven and an individual who believes in lifting and empowering others through the knowledge I have acquired, and experience gained overtime.
