I am a self-motivated individual who works hard and smart to achieve both my personal and professional career goals. I keep myself up to date with new laws and continue to empower myself with new changes in the Finance field by continuously attending the Continued Professional Development workshops.

Having headed one of the five divisions of the municipality and interacted will all other four divisions which had their own directorate, I had great exposure in working in an organisation with more than a thousand staff compliment and asset base of over R1,5 Billion.

I have also gained invaluable experience in reporting and managing stakeholder expectations, especially working with politicians. The municipality environment is a highly pressured environment deadline driven, with a lot of ad hoc requests and additional deadlines, therefore I can work under pressure.

How do I add value.

I like incorporating technology to my strong knowledge of financial management and therefore improve efficiencies and create strong internal controls within an organisation. 

I have strong values regarding Compliance and Governance ensuring that laws and policies are complied with, policies are well documented and communicated within the organisation.
