I am an energetic and enthusiastic individual who enjoys challenges and achieves personal goals.  I have strong communication and organizational skills gained as a Quest fellow and GLC delegate. I have been working with in data related fields for 6 years and I am an experienced M&E officer. I show pride in all that I do, work well under pressure and meet deadlines. I have good leadership skills, good listening skills and work well in a team. I have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and am able to adapt easily to different environments.

I was working as a Data Capturer at Health Systems Trust from 2017 to 2018. My position at this organisation entailed assisting public clinics with their data cleaning and analysis processes. As well as assisting with the development and implementation of a monitoring and evaluation system to ensure accurate and efficient entry of data into the database. In 2018 I was appointed as a Technical Assistant in 11 facilities in Lejweleputswa where I generate run charts, assist facility data captures with any technical work related challenges the are facing as well as generate any Tier.net related reports for improvement, monitoring and evaluating the progress at the various facilities. As a data capturer I have also identified one of the challenges faced at facility level which is that of patient viral loads drawn for decanted patients. Therefore at one of the facilities in the districts I developed a quality improvement plan to pull down this challenge to a minimum.

Previously I was an Area Monitoring and Evaluation Officer in eThekwini where my core focus was to design, implement and execute plans for improving data quality within district. Moreover I built and maintained partnerships with all stakeholders in the district, Departments of Health, community bodies and civil society groups. Most importantly I ensured the accurate and timely development and submission of all reports required by different stakeholders. Lastly I supervised the data capturers to ensure that TIER.net and DHIS integrated systems are implemented and are up-to-date.

I was previously working as an M&E officer at NACOSA under the AGYW programme where I mainly worked with two databases namely MyHope and KVAP. Where I ensured quality data is shared between the PR and SRs as well as the funder. I am now currently working as an M&E officer at NACOSA under the Community Systems Strengthening programme where I mainly worked with CBOs in the Western Cape and Northern Cape provinces to capacitate them on their M&E systems.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences attained from UCT, a Certificate in Monitoring & Evaluation attained from UWC and a Bachelors of Technology in Project Management attained from CUT.
