I have the full ODETDP and SDF certifications.  I have a sound understanding of the Skills Development Act, governance requirements, SETA structures and the BBBEE new codes in South Africa. With this exposure I can effectively partner with business as an L&D professional and impact the bottom line. 

I started my career in the heart of skills development, the sector education training authority (SETA). I worked for the Mining seta as an intern in the Standard Generating body (SGB) department sitting with the board and supporting the generation of unit standards. I have extensive exposure working with various SETA’s over the years namely, Serviceseta; Cathesseta; ICETA; Merseta; TETA and EWseta. I have submitted many WSP/ATR’s through the years and have applied extensively for discretionary funding with remarkable success. Through my funding achievements I have ran several learnerships, work integrated learning programmes from inception to end including recruiting and placing learners with disabilities. 

I have designed a wide range of various training programs namely, Consulting for success; Goal Setting; Performance management discussions for Supervisors; Customer Service; Authentic discussions for Middle Managers; Self talk and more. I have used the ADDIE model as my baseline framework in my career, to measure ROI, conduct evaluations with strong emphasis on the Kirkpatrick model. The administration of learning and development in a methodical manner is crucial for success. Consistent, valid and reliable administration feeds into all Monthly progress, budget and BBBEE reports. I currently collate and complete all training reporting from a statutory, budgetory and governance perspective.

Summary of qualifications: BA Honours Industrial psychology Cum Laude (UNISA) and BTech HRM Cum Laude (UJ). In progress with post graduate Diploma: HRD with UNISA.
