As a recent graduate from the University of Witwatersrand with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, I am a dedicated and enthusiastic graduate looking to expand her knowledge and skills in the work environment. I am at the beginning of my work career and am therefore very open-mined and eager to learn new skills and explore various expertise as I travail to refine my talents in the professional realm. I would appreciate the opportunity to show how I can bring value to my employer and I am confident that I am well-prepared to be a valuable contributor to company growth and success. Through my academic journey, I applied a strong focus on building my computer-aided design and mathematical abilities. I am detailoriented and meticulous when managing competing priorities within tight deadlines. I work best in roles where utilizing regulatory compliance allows me to make a positive impact while using creative problem-solving to resolve issues and achieve goals. My academic strengths have greatly contributed to the development of my communication, planning and problem-solving skills. I bring clear and effective communicating to build professional connections with co-workers, management, and customers. November 2022 to January 2023 I was working and training with KBK RMC (Pty) Ltd appointed by The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) to provide consulting services for the administration and construction monitoring for the Periodic Maintenance of the National Route 1, Section 13 between Orange River and Driekuil, in the Free State province. May 2022 to August 2022 AM Consulting Engineers Johannesburg Junior Engineer Intern Part-time temporary work assisting with road traffic survey, data capturing and data processing for AM Consulting Engineers (Pty) Ltd (AMCE), assisting on a Johannesburg Public Transportation Project for the City of Johannesburg as the client. January 2019 to January 2020 De Stijl Gariep Hotel (4-star establishment) Receptionist Interacting with guests, clients, delivery staff and other public service members throughout the day and reporting directly to the Office Manager, in charge of managing guest bookings and reservations, as well as assisting guests with check-in and check-out, keeping an orderly workspace, answering and directing incoming calls, verifying all guests payments, computing all guest billings and ensure accurate charges are posted to guest rooms, receiving mail, packages and relevant documents, liaise with housekeeping staff and maintenance staff to address any concerns made by guests and managing conference room bookings and scheduling.
