Experience

I am currently working at Richards Bay Industrial Development Zone as  an Investment Promotion Intern  where I provide general administrative and secretarial support services to the Business Development Unit, including but not limited to: Update enquiry generated pipeline, Update generated lead pipeline, arrange unit’s internal meetings, taking minutes during schedule meetings and compile reports and offer Investment Promotion duties of to:

  • Receive and respond to enquiries emanating from telephone calls, referrals, website and walk ins.
  • Follow up on enquiries.
  • Participate at the investment promotion events, exhibitions, conference, and inward missions.
  •  Develop an investor project file.
  • Arranging meetings between investor and DFIs
  • Set up meetings for ERC, arrange investor site meetings. 
  • Assist in hosting of incoming delegates. 
  • Arrange boardrooms for upcoming meetings and workshop. 
  • Act as single-entry contact point for investment enquiries for the Unit
  • Assist in hosting of incoming business delegation. 
  • Customer relationship and support

I have National Diploma in Marketing and a certificate in Project Management
