About Asipje Kwinana:

My name is Asiphe Kwinana. I have a BTECH in Food Technology. I have 9 years experience in Research and Development. I do application with all different kind of Beverages, CSD, Dairy products, Concentrates, RTD’s and PSD’s. Under my portfolio I’ve launched Energade Zero and Energade Boost. In 2018-2019 after our government implemented Sugar tax I had a huge renovation to reduce Sugar on all our Beverage category which was a successful, as a results the company made savings from millions rands. I also interact closely with regulation team to make sure that everything is compliant, as a results I’m more familiar with R146, Codex and SA regulation.

Experience

9 years of experience in Beverages. During the 9 years I work on Innovations and Renovations, which gave me more knowledge and insight of different ingredients and how are they use. Impact on processing.
