Hello there! I am Anika Jenny Havenga. I started my design journey at 16, learning and picking up skills along the way.

With 10 years of experience in design and digital marketing, I have a track record of successful campaigns and a portfolio to prove it.

I'm not just about design. I'm good with people, reliable, and hardworking. I thrive under pressure and love tackling new challenges. I'm dedicated, honest, and always up for thinking outside the box.

 

Bala Kudu Online Bookstore - Strand, Western Cape (November 2019 to Present)

2019 - 2023

I was employed as the Marketing Executive at Bala Kudu Bookstore in 2019.

Bala Kudu (BK) is family owned and is a part of 4 companies in a trust.

Although I am employed at Bala Kudu Bookstore, I am also the Marketing Executive on a consulting basis for Nevada LMS. I am the Digital creator for SAPnet and Ingeniant on a consulting basis.

​I have learnt to manage my time and quality work to it's fullest potential. Projects for each company is planned out per calendar to fit each company's season.

Using variety software such as Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Adobe Illustrator | Photoshop | Web ecommerce | Marketing Software: Mailchimp / Animato

Intuitive planning to increase revenue and profits through diligent research and efficient resource allocation (product placement strategies). Especially skilled at maximizing profits while working within a limited marketing budget. Specialize in identifying client needs and offering practical short-term and long-term solutions.

Maintain close client/Publisher communications while clearly defining marketing objectives. Managing projects/clients/publishers to ensure results are met. Attending Networking events and Expos representing the company.

Providing support with marketing material for various departments within the company. Creating and maintaining Marketing Calendars for Bala Kudu and other Projects/Clients. Content Managing of all social media platforms.

Assistant manager to the Operational Manager. Assisting in all areas of the business to ensure that I have the full understanding of the company. As a result I have the  strong ability to develop cross-category solutions. This also allows me to be a valuable and all rounder employee to the company.

Ability to work within tight deadlines. Solid team leadership abilities. Comprehensive communications skills
