Anelisiwe Esona

I am a dedicated and self-driven Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Accounting student at the North-West University, aspiring to join the SAICA route from 2024. I am a dynamic and initiative-taking individual with good multitasking skills, and I have the ability to oversee complex tasks in a work environment while completing my daily duties and meeting deadlines. I am a top academic achiever and also have dedication towards netball as my favorite sport. I believe that a giving hand is a blessed hand and with that being said I have taken part in charity work through being part of my high school Commerce club and Jool hostel committee in first and second year of my tertiary studies. I am a highly motivated and hardworking individual, who is currently completing her undergraduate studies in B Com Financial Accounting and who is excelling in her modules especially Taxation, Management Accounting and Financial Accounting. I will commencing with my post-graduate studies in B Com Financial Accounting Honors for 2023 and CTA (B Com Chartered Accounting Honors) in 2024 to build upon a keen financial industry interest and start a career as a Chartered accountant in future. Eventual career goal is to become a qualified and SAICA accredited Chartered accountant preferably in the public sector. 

I  currently do not have any professional work experience as I'm still completing my undergraduate studies in B Com Financial Accountancy. During my course of study, I have however gained excellent communication and people skills, which help me with interreacting, presenting and communicating messages clearly with people. I can work and contribute as part of a team towards a common goal. I am competitive and I enjoy problem solving and challenging myself. I have also gained adequate technical skills in Microsoft office: Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

My highest achieved academic level is Matric that I acquired from Holy Cross Education Centre and passed with a Bachelor admission pass with 6 distinctions. I commenced my studies at Holy Cross Education Centre in 2017 and I took Accounting, Economics, Business Studies, Mathematics, Life orientation, IsiXhosa and English as my subjects.

I got acceptance in the North West University to complete my undergraduate studies in B Com Chartered Accountancy  from 2020 and I achieved an average of 78% in first year. I got registration for B Com Financial Accountancy in for third year undergraduate studies in 2023 and I currently have an average of 72%.
