In my professional journey, I have had the opportunity to hold two positions at Capitec Bank. As an Assistant Branch Manager, I have developed and honed various competencies. Working effectively with people and leading and supervising teams have been integral to my role. Making decisions and taking action in a fast-paced environment have been essential in coping with pressures and setbacks. I have also been responsible for identifying discrepancies within the branch and ensuring they are promptly addressed. Moreover, enrolling and training new employees have been a fulfilling aspect of my responsibilities. During the absence of the Branch Manager, I took charge of managing the branch, serving clients, and executing operational plans to ensure smooth operations. I also actively engaged in coaching and discussions to help individuals improve their performance and achieve their goals. Resolving client complaints and ensuring their satisfaction with the outcome have been top priorities for me.

In my previous role as a Sales/Service Consultant, I excelled in delivering outstanding results and consistently meeting customer expectations. I have been diligent in following instructions and adhering to principles and values, building strong relationships and networks to enhance my performance. My persuasive abilities and effective communication have been valuable assets in influencing positive outcomes. My educational journey began in 2010 when I obtained my Senior Certificate from Langa Senior Secondary School. Following my passion for biological sciences, I enrolled at Walter Sisulu University and earned a BSc in Biological Sciences in 2015. Wanting to delve deeper into botany, I pursued and successfully completed a BSc Honours in Botany at the same university in 2017. These educational experiences have provided me with a solid foundation in botany and biological sciences, nurturing my passion for the natural world.
The education I received has played a significant role in shaping my career as an Assistant Branch Manager. My BSc in Biological Sciences provided me with a strong scientific background, honing my analytical and problem-solving skills, which are essential in managerial roles. Additionally, the knowledge gained during my BSc Honours in Botany has given me a deep understanding of plant life and ecology, which has proven beneficial when dealing with green spaces and landscaping aspects of managing a branch.
Moreover, my academic journey instilled a sense of discipline, time management, and a commitment to continuous learning, all of which are crucial traits for effective management. The ability to understand complex scientific concepts and communicate them clearly has helped me in providing guidance and support to my team members.
