With over five years of experience as a Human Resources Business Partner (People Business Partner), a strong academic foundation, and a commitment to fostering effective workplace environments, I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to your team. I am currently completing my MBA, which further enhances my strategic understanding of business operations and human resources management.
During my tenure as a Human Resources Business Partner, I have had the privilege of working closely with senior leadership teams, advising on a wide range of HR issues, from talent acquisition to employee development and organizational culture. I have consistently demonstrated my ability to align HR strategies with business objectives, driving performance and fostering employee engagement. My hands-on experience in managing employee relations, performance management, and organizational development initiatives has shaped my approach to problem-solving and employee-centered decision-making.
Experience
Serve as an internal consultant to the function or business area, regarding talent acquisition & management, learning & leadership development, rewards & recognition, performance management, ER, and organization development.
Partner with the business to execute strategic agenda.
Drive improvement in Employment Equity
Responsible for the Employee Relations delivery, incl. collective bargaining and consultation processes related to changes to the organization.
Prepare all the documents for shortlisted candidates, Schedule the interview dates and conduct the interviews.
Manage the on-boarding of new hires - document collection, checklists etc.
Manage the administration of HR operational activities in multiple HR disciplines (recruitment, on- boarding, off-boarding
Run customized HR reports, dashboards, and metrics to suit business requirements.
Provide regular communication to all stakeholders on process and system changes as well as on other relevant matters pertaining to HRSS.
Coordinate employee engagement activities such as
surveys administration, gathering employee feedback,
Collaborate with HR Managers on recruitment activities such as scheduling interviews, assessments, etc.
Attend CCMA cases and engage with the Shop.
Establish/monitor the HR processes throughout the year and coach the line managers.
Ensure excellent execution of the HR processes within the business unit/function.
Identify & implement the organizational capabilities required to achieve function goals.
Diagnose business performance problems and collaborate with specialist teams to create effective and integrated HR solutions for teams & individuals.
Provide feedback to specialist teams about HR solution effectiveness and work with them as appropriate to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Monitor organization performance & provide data for the people/organization scorecard.
Meet local delivery needs (e.g. employee relations/industrial relations, statutory/regulatory requirements) pulling on specialists and others as required.
Participate in the governance of HR Operations to define and review the quality and the cost of the service provided.
Provide input to the Senior HR Manager to agree on the organization/people agenda in the Region.
Monitor and evaluate the quality of the on-boarding programs.
Encourage and monitor use of tools, evaluate competency gaps.
Develop coaching skills within line managers by providing tools and observing and providing feedback.
