Amanda Olivier

I am Amanda Olivier, currently 1y 8months in my new career as retail security guard. In my previous career I was occupied with health and safety covering 3 floor areas doing inspections and report back to building manager. I studied Grade E  to A Security and obtain my Psira grade A certificate. I do have a code EB 08 driver's license, though can get to work every day. I am punctual, level-headed and a good team-player.

Unlock store and open for business

Report incidents and update OB book

Test automatic sensor system and report to management if faulty

Receive deliveries, update delivery register

Meet and greet visitors, update visitor register

Accompany guard collecting store cash

Check all items in store to be tagged

Report to management if any tags was removed and found elsewhere in store

Keep a close eye on customers’ movements to prevent stock loss in store

If client’s package was alert by sensor, open and investigate items for any tags

Meet and greet customers to create a friendly environment.

Investigate workers’ handbags and packages when leaving the store

Lock store and see to safety of manager

2. Retrieve data and photographs from the archive for Media 24 journalists, members of the public and other libraries
3. File, scan and burn grey photo selection to Cd
4. Administration of the Library, e.g. petty cash, stock orders, new quotes etc.
5. Maintenance of the photocopier, microfilm readers, computers and newspaper store room.
6. Act as Health and Safety representative
