About Alungile Gumbi:

I am a young woman who is passionate about making change in the society hence why I choose the career path in community development, I  am full of new ideas. I am currently working with programmes whereby I plan and implement projects and programmes in the community. The programmes are mostly for youth and are self employment projects that inhibit the high unemployment rate of SA. I believe that as a youthful woman I am more than capable of bringing up new ideas into the table. Also that my experience can work as an advantage to your organization/company, given the opportunity

Experience

 

I am serving an internship program assisting a youth coordinator at eThekwini Municipality from 2021 July. I am planning and implementing projects and programmes to empower the youth. Running self employment projects 

Education

I have an undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Art in community development and Psychology and an honors degree under social sciences in community and development studies
