With over 20 years of experience in IT support and management, I have developed a comprehensive skill set that includes technical troubleshooting, customer service, and team leadership. At Stellenbosch University, I served as an Endpoint Management Administrator, where I managed endpoint administration, technical support, and network infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and high standards of service. Previously, as the Manager of the ICT Service Desk, I effectively oversaw daily IT operations, managed projects, and provided second-line support, demonstrating my ability to handle complex technical issues and maintain excellent client relationships.

In addition to my technical roles, I have also showcased my entrepreneurial spirit by founding and running a successful travel agency. This venture allowed me to refine my business acumen, enhance my customer service skills, and develop strategic planning capabilities. My diverse experience across IT and business management has equipped me with a unique perspective and the ability to adapt to various challenges. My educational background is anchored by a Senior Certificate from Monument Park High School, followed by specialized IT training at Damelin College, where I completed a PC Engineering course. I further enhanced my technical expertise by earning an MCSE 2003 certification from Bytes, encompassing MCP, MCSA, and CompTIA Security+ certifications. This foundational education equipped me with the necessary skills to excel in various IT roles, particularly in systems administration and technical support.

To complement my technical training, I pursued advanced management and project management courses. I completed the ITIL V.3 Foundation for I.T. Service Management at the University of Stellenbosch and the Regional Middle Management Development Programme through the Cape Higher Education Consortium. Additionally, I enhanced my strategic and managerial capabilities by completing the Management Development Programme and Project Management: Principles and Practices courses at USB Executive Development Pty. These qualifications have been pivotal in developing my leadership skills and understanding of efficient IT service delivery, enabling me to successfully manage teams and projects in a dynamic IT environment.
