JOB PURPOSE

This role is responsible for leading the L1 Demand Operation for managing demand and supporting supply planning to meet monthly turnover target, Forecasting and S&OP, Accurate Promo planning and optimization, service levels and working capital targets by balancing the resources and collaborating with the wider business.

With strong influencing skills and an outstanding ability to navigate across short, medium and long term needs, this role responds quickly to internal and external stimulus to deliver across all the planning horizons.


This role demonstrates a mastery of navigating demand and supply trade-offs to bring their voice to the CCBT representing end to end supply chain planning.

Also, as a member of the CCBT representing Planning.


The Demand Fulfilment Manager will be the Planning contact point for the Market on Demand, Supply and Innovation for the Category, with a strategic and tactical planning focus.

They will also be the day-to-day contact with the L2 Planning hub to manage trade-off and escalation points back into the Market organization.


WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

Operational Planning (Demand and Supply):

  • Monitor business impact of demand and supply plans created by L2 and challenge where necessary to meet business performance targets
  • Point of escalation for trade off decisions on a daytoday basis which are outside of the L2 Hub's level of authority
  • Coown (with the CCD) the order management activities for the Category
  • Provide input to companywide demand planning processes and continuous improvement initiatives in planning
  • Analyse trends, identify areas for plan improvement and recommend appropriate actions working collaboratively with the L2 hub
  • Review and approve parameter changes from L2 and liaise with Sales and Operations teams when their input or agreement is required
  • Ensure planning related master data changes are communicated by the L1 Planning team to L
  • Support the Demand Planner and Market Collaboration Planner to drive plan adoption with Sales and Operations


S&OP:


  • Oversee business planning, and in particular annual volume planning which includes interfacing closely with Customer, Finance and E2E Planners to ensure timeous delivery
  • Accountable for all planning inputs from the Market into


S&OP:

innovation planning (post MRG), demand planning, end to end supply planning (local, 3P, imports) and resultant stock availability at MSO for the month horizon

  • Integrate supply chain constraints into the operational forecast
  • Interface with CD, Marketing and Finance organizations on medium to longterm assumptions and opportunities
  • Lead forecast reviews in Consensus meetings (including preforecast, forecast, risks & opportunities, gap closing)
  • Ensure volume forecast is aligned with financial forecast
  • Approve rough cut capacity planning for the category to ensure that customer service, stock and cost requirements are met
  • Lead CCBT discussion from supply chain perspective, with endtoend demand and supply planning view

Service:

  • Responsible for the overall stock availability for the Category
  • Drive resolution of short term constraints for SKUs shared between export and local (export specific SKUs will be managed by factory scheduler / export hub)
  • Drive integrated activities with the broader supply chain and customer teams as well as through collaboration both internally and externally to ensure customer service requirements are understood and met
  • Responsible for joint projects to take place between Demand and Supply to improve responsiveness and flexibility

Complexity Reduction:

  • Regularly review SKU portfolio with extended teams (Planning Hub, Customer, Finance and Supply Chain) and make appropriate recommendations.

Innovation:

  • Own the IAD and signs off the volumes ahead of Contract gate.
  • Interrogates the shape of the innovation forecast
