Job Summary:
Tired of rolling out the same kind of store again and again?


With several and varied brands under their umbrella, our client is a homegrown success story and well-established retailer with a strong track record of success.

Their Cape Town based property team is responsible for sourcing new sites and negotiating renewals or changes to current leases across the region.

Although they have a successful formula in this area, there is plenty of room for a bilingual negotiator to be creative in an environment where concepts and mandates need to be tweaked for local considerations.

Specifically they are looking for someone to take control of the Eastern seaboard; from Caledon to East London, including the surrounding inland areas.

Although based in Cape Town, you will enjoy the benefit of a company car as your role will see you on the road twice a month for - 4 days at a time.

Lease renewals, identification of landowners and landlords, local market research, creating board packs for approvals & assistance in project implementation will all fall to you.


This role would suit an individual with a town planning, legal or property related degree who is comfortable negotiating in rural & urban markets, and who has a track record of taking initiative.

A minimum of 4 years working experience, a drivers license and proven track record in retail leasing will secure.
