Job overview


My client, a leading manufacturer of catering and baking equipment, is looking for a Draughtsman to join their team in Bellville South, Cape Town.


If you look at Laser Cutting and Manufacturing companies, they have draughtsman in the drawing office that design and draw parts and know how to operate the bending machines.

Key responsibilities

  • Need to draw parts on Solid Works and Auto Cad and be able to model parts to make a complete assembly
  • Update current drawings and make new drawings for projects
  • Design machines and equipment
Required Skills and Knowledge

  • At least 5 years experience in a Factory environment and be able to work as a team with previous experience as a Draughtsman

Experience in draughting on Solid Works and Auto Cad:


  • Experience in using SIGMA nesting to make programs for laser cutting machines:
  • Strong management/supervisor skills

Own transport and be able to come/go to work when working overtime.

  • Sense of responsibility
  • Positive attitude and enthusiastic
  • Safety Conscious (Any previous safety course an advantage)
