Description

RPO Recruitment's client is currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced Operations/Warehouse Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility, ensuring efficient and timely execution of all warehouse activities.

As an Operations/Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, optimizing warehouse layout, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You will also be responsible for leading and developing a team of warehouse employees, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and productivity.

We are looking for a candidate who has strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of warehouse operational processes and best practices.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, and shipping
Manage inventory levels and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy
Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse layout and space utilization
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Lead and develop a team of warehouse employees, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of operations
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs

Requirements

Proven work experience as an Operations Manager or Warehouse Manager
In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Good understanding of health and safety regulations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively manage and develop a team
Proficient in warehouse management software
