    Manage Self: Technical

    Job Responsibilities

    • Maintaining Default and Recoveries system/SAP by daily cashflows tracking and impairments maintenance.
    • Allocation of funds in the department's suspense account.
    • Negotiating settlements with clients
    • Monitoring costs versus recoveries for balance sheet matters.
    • Monitoring portfolio age to meet legislation guidelines
    • Validating daily payments into clients' accounts, General Ledger.
    • Rehabilitating client accounts with payment criteria.
    • Validating and paying invoices from vendors.
    • Managing handovers from regional risk to legal recoveries.
    • Obtaining original security documents from Securities department.
    • Evaluating assets from Evaluations department.
    • Coordinating with Insurance division for property insurance.
    • Assigning work to external stakeholders.
    • Enforcing Litigation Guidelines with vendors.
    • Managing vendor performance as per SLA.
    • Assisting clients with payment plans and queries.
    • Coordinating with various departments for processes.
    • Processing Department Industry entries on SAP.
    • Maintaining evaluations register.
    • Processing monthly work progress.
    • Requesting and completing cheque requisitions.
    • Managing Debit Credit Waste Capturing.
    • Preparing monthly Operations Committee Meeting reports.
    • Maintaining recovery forecasts, actuals, and impairments.
    • Conducting pre-checks on new handovers.
    • Performing daily reconciliations on payments.
    • Managing debt.
    • Reinstating legal accounts and obtaining approvals.
    • Issuing settlement letters.
    • Conducting operational meetings with vendors.
    • Preparing loss reports.
    • Requesting documentation from external vendors.
    • Processing refunds and obtaining approvals.
    • Completing vendor trackers.
    • Clearing judgement certificates with Credit Bureaux.
    • Staying updated on industry changes and legislation.
    • Sharing knowledge with team and stakeholders.
    • Supporting transformation goals and CSR initiatives.
    • Identifying opportunities to enhance processes.

    Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

    • Matric/Grade 12/National Senior Certificate

    Preferred Qualification

    Diploma: Paralegal Studies, AIPSA

    Minimum Experience Level

    2 - 5 years in banking/collections
