Luxury Safari Lodge in Madikwe Game Reserve is looking for a Trails Guide:

Responsible for:

  • Game drives (3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon)
  • Host guests at dinners
  • Walking safari's
  • Pick up and drop off guests and take their luggage to the rooms.
  • Assisting the tracker with cleaning the vehicle.
  • Assisting with emergency maintenance.
  • Assist with maintenance around the lodge

Requirements:


  • Experience on the job as a field guide in a similar environment and at a lodge at similar level
  • Minimum FGASA Level 1/2 qualification or equivalent
  • Lead Trails Certificate and being able to conduct bush walks
  • ARH
  • Excellent communications and entertaining skills

Accommodation:
The guide will have their own room and bathroom in the staff village. The room is equipped with a bed, curtains and a ceiling fan.

Please bring everything else you need:
Desk & chair, linen, toiletries, TV etc. There is wifi in the staff quarters. Laundry is done every day by the housekeepers.


Cycles:


We work in cycles of 36 days on, 12 days off and receive 16 extra leave days per year that can be taken when it is convenient for the company.
