Marketing Assistant

Our client, is a leading exporter of premium Cape Flora and cut flowers from South Africa to the World,seeks to appoint a dynamic and creative Marketing Assistant who will assist the team with various marketing and sales initiatives.

A minimum of 2 years experience in a sales and/or marketing role with exposure to social media marketing will be required.

Requirements_

Grade 1
A Marketing, Social Media Marketing or Business Management Diploma/Degree will be advantageous
Minimum of 2 years experience in a sales and/or marketing role will be advantageous
Effective written and verbal communication skills
High level of attention to detail required
Sound knowledge of digital marketing initiatives.
Creative and innovative
Ability to work independently but also function as part of a team

Responsibilities_

Collaborating with the Marketing Manager, internal teams and clients on marketing strategy.
Helping identify marketing trends and key opportunities for client development.
Working closely with sales and marketing department.
Identifying new business opportunities.
Updating social media accounts.
Creating online marketing materials and presentations.
Maintaining a marketing database.
Providing administrative support to the marketing and sales team with regards to sales administration functions.
Preparing, formatting and editing a range of documents.
Understanding company product and brand.
General office duties.
