    PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Executive Manager for Corporate Services provides strategic leadership in the division and advocate for a high-performance culture through leading Human Resource Division, Information Technology, Stakeholder Relations, legal services (outsourced) and Corporate Governance

  • Work with Executive Leadership Team under the direction of the CEO to define, develop and implement organisational strategy and business plans that align with the vision, mission, and values of the organization.
  • Develop a comprehensive Corporate Service Plan that enables a highperformance organisational culture.
  • Oversee the development of policies, procedures and practices that are aligned to efficiency, quality and resource management.
  • Oversee the implementation of the organisational performance and drive the culture of accountability.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of all divisional policies, procedures and processes.
  • Participate actively in the strategic planning process and provide inputs in the key planning documents, strategies and plans of the organization.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of all compliance reports to various governance structures as well as other reports for external stakeholders.
  • Oversee the management of all divisions within Corporate Services and ensure that performance standards are maintained at high levels.
  • Oversee the compliance with internal and external audits and provide guidance on document management as well as implementation of audit action plan.
  • Ensure that the organisation has a sound legal framework to address contracts, legal and performance matters.
  • Support the CEO in the creation of a safe working environment through proper resource planning and employee health and wellness.
  • Oversee the development of divisional strategic and operational risks and ensure implementation of mitigating actions.
  • Develop, support and build a strong team to support the organisational objectives of the organization.
  • Develop strategies for building and maintain a strong organisational brand across the skills landscape.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Honours Degree in Business management / Administration or related.
  • Master's degree is an added advantage.
  • Ten (10) Years Experience at Senior Management level preferably in a public sector.
  • A clear understanding of fundamental workings in the HR, IT, Legal, Stakeholder Relations and other transversal operations will be a key success factor in this role.
  • Understanding of the performance management framework and target driven methodologies.
  • Proven experience for managing allocated budgets.
  • Experience getting the best of your team and inspiring employees to selfdevelop and perform at their optimal best.
  • Proven experience as an Executive Manager or similar executive role.
  • A strong understanding of setting and managing performance standards.
  • Experience in formulating, approving, and presenting departmental Opex and Capex budget.
  • Proven experience in developing strategic planning documents and translating them into operational plans and reporting on progress implementation as and when required.
  • Proven knowledge of managing risks, audit processes, compliance, and reporting.
