Job Overview:

Senior Manager - Regulatory Compliance (_Insurance / Credit)_**
Location: La Lucia, KwaZulu-Natal
A
reputable financial services group
has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager - Regulatory Compliance**.

Position Overview:

One will be a
trusted advisor to 1st line but
maintain independence of mind as part of 2nd line.

Key Responsibilities:

- _Identify and manage all _
_Regulatory requirements__ of the Group. _
- _Manage the _
_completion of all commentary and/or impact assessments request__ from various _
_Regulatory__ _
_Bodies__._
- _Provide expert guidance and recommendation and _
_ensure adherence to multiple laws and regulations

_:
- _Demonstrate _
_in depth understanding of key legislations__ such as the _
_NCA, FAIS Act, POPIA, FIC__ and other applicable laws._
- _Conduct compliance_
_ regulatory training

_:
- _Execute on all_
_ Regulatory Compliance projects (end-end)__ within set timelines._
- _Assist in _
_filing regulatory reports to the respective regulators__, keeping the Group in good standing with regulatory bodies._

Qualifications and Experience**:

A
completed Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree.

Admission as an Admitted Attorney of the
High Court of South Africa.

Member of the
Compliance Institute of SA.
-
RE5 Accreditation.

A
minimum of 5 to 7 years' experience in a
Regulatory Compliance position,
3 years of which must have been in a Managerial role,
in Financial Services**.
Indepth knowledge and experience, with
Financial Products:Credit
and Insurance**.
