We are seeking a talented Social Media Manager to join our team in Somerset West.

As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance our brand presence, engage our target audience, and drive meaningful results across various platforms.

Responsibilities:

Execute a comprehensive social media strategy to achieve our marketing and business goals.
Create engaging and relevant content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
Manage and monitor all social media accounts, ensuring consistent brand messaging and voice.
Plan and schedule social media posts, taking into consideration peak engagement times and target audience preferences.
Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster meaningful interactions to build a strong community.
Monitor social media trends, track industry best practices, and identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Utilise social media analytics tools to track performance, generate reports, and optimise strategies based on datadriven insights.
Stay up to date with emerging social media platforms and trends, exploring opportunities to expand our brand presence.
Ensure compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, including privacy regulations, when managing usergenerated content.

Requirements:

At Least 12 years of proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, their functionalities, and best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to adapt tone and messaging for different platforms and audiences.
Proficiency in using social media management tools
Creative thinking and the ability to generate engaging content that resonates with the target audience.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple social media accounts and campaigns.
Familiarity with graphic design tools and basic image editing skills are a plus.
Uptodate knowledge of social media trends, algorithms, and industry developments.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
