Personal Assistant to the Sales Manager
Futurama, a leading online retailer in South Africa, is seeking a highly organized and efficient Personal Assistant to the Sales Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the Sales Manager's diary, scheduling appointments, and organizing meetings.
- Coordinating travel arrangements and preparing travel itineraries.
- Assisting in the preparation of sales presentations and reports.
- Maintaining sales records and managing salesrelated documentation.
- Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders on behalf of the Sales Manager.
- Providing general administrative support to the sales team as required.
- Confirming stock availability with suppliers to fulfil customer orders.
- Coordinating with suppliers to confirm cost prices and delivery times.
- Handling orderrelated administrative tasks, including data entry and documentation.
- Collaborating with the sales and logistics teams to ensure smooth order processing.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or similar role, preferably in a sales environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- A proactive and selfmotivated approach to work.
- Matric certificate with strong English language skills. Bilingual proficiency in English and Afrikaans is advantageous.
- Tertiary diploma or degree in business administration or related field is advantageous.
- Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of, and experience in the use of, CRM software such as Zoho.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced, customerfocused environment.
