Job Overview

  • Internal sales will be the first line of contact for any customer wanting to buy from GPH, and further be responsible to build and maintain solid relationships between his or her allocated customers and company.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Assists clients with their required quotes and orders
  • Purchase orders
  • Service counter customers
  • Optimization program
  • Involved with stock take
  • Sources for new clients and continues to assist existing clients
  • Receiving training on the drawing system 'Made to Measure'
  • She has a basic understanding of reading drawings and is efficient in entering orders/quotes and communicating with clients about the progress and delivery of their orders
  • Develop meaningful relationship with customers to encourage trust and loyalty.
  • Participate in lead generation strategies such as cold calling to identify business prospects.
  • Mediate conflict in situations where customers are disgruntled or unhappy with service/quality/price/product, reestablish credibility and maintain business
  • Maintain a log of customers that have been contacted, outcome of the interaction and issues that need to be flagged of follow up.
  • Proactive follow up with clients, get feedback.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify improvements to product offerings.
  • Encourage team members to be productive, good attitude, and positive demeanor to create a great environment.
  • Uphold standards of selfmotivation, time management, and productivity.
  • Ensure workplace is clean organized and professional.
  • Assisting and helping designated Key accounts manager with all queries and admin.
  • Facilitate the entire sale process from initiation of original call through to delivery through to payment.
  • Liaise with operations and dispatch to ensure orders delivered timeously.
  • Meet sales and target goals
  • Provide reports on internal sales activity monthly basis.
  • Understand and operate glass pro efficiently
  • Input works orders, correctly, timeously and quote within 24 hours
  • Evaluating, adjusting, and managing internal sales pipeline.
  • Staying up to date on industry trends of our target market.
    Inherent Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric
  • A qualification in marketing and / or sales management will be advantageous
  • 23 years of relevant experience in an office environment
  • Preferably from the Glass Industry
  • Must speak English and Afrikaans
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong phone skills
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Comfortable multitasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Punctual with strong attendance history
  • Strong communication skills
  • Being handson
