  • Effective and safe conveyance of employees, material, equipment to the underground operation
  • Effective risk management and compliance with the DMR, M&RC and client requirments
  • Cost containment
  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Competent, motivated and postive team
  • Effective selfmanagement and alignment with M&RC values and leadership initiatives
  • Compliance with SHEQ, M&RC and client standards, policies and procedures

Minimum requirements- Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent

  • Valid Onsetters Certificate of competency
  • Basic Riggning Certificate
  • Valid First Aid Certificate
  • Sound verbal and written skills in English
  • 2 years experience in an underground mining enviroment
  • Logistics experience preferred
  • Knowledge of processes followed in a sinking shaft
  • Medically fit to work underground
