Payroll Officer - Johannesburg, South Africa - AllLife Insurance
Description
An innovative family-centric life insurance company is currently looking to hire a qualified Payroll Officer to represent the AllLife brand within South Africa.
Overview of Core Responsibilities
─ Payroll
─ Capturing of monthly payroll
─ Assisting employees with any payroll related queries
─ Resolution of payroll-related queries from the Auditors, Finance etc
─ Ensuring the accuracy of payroll before the release thereof

Contracting and Administration of Staff and Staff Files
─ Drafting of offer letters and contracts
─ Monitor all intakes, exits and transfers
─ Based on adherence to the policy and procedure
─ Based on accuracy and efficiency
─ No backlog in updates of registers, fingerprints and staff files

Administration
─ Follow up on medical certificates as and when required
─ Administration of Risk benefits (group life, income protection etc)
─ Administration of medical aid
─ Administration of provident fund
─ Co-ordination of UIF and COIDA submissions
─ Follow and implement all policies and procedures
─ Assist with general enquiries from staff
─ Administers UIF forms, certificates of service
─ Administration of service awards
─ Assisting in organisation of events when required

Recruitment
─ Assisting with recruitment for the Johannesburg Teams including scheduling and setting up interviews
─ Administration on the day
─ Any documentation on the day as well as managing the onboarding process

General assistance with HR and IR projects from time to time

- Clear criminal record;
- At least 5 years
experience in a Payroll Administrationrole is a must; - Proficient in Excel skills;
- PaySpace experience advantageous.
