Role synopsis
- The Head of Project management manages crossfunctional teams who are responsible for delivering defined project deliverables on time, within budget and with quality results on the entire company portfolio of projects.
- Responsible for the overall project management function providing leadership, coordination, strategic direction, internal project process and related development and management to project activities.
- Oversees project management strategy, training, maturity, communication, project control/analysis/reporting, process development and tools and system development
- Determine project goals and priorities with management program manager and/or project sponsors.
- Ensure the appropriate processes are followed for planning, scheduling, monitoring, controlling, and delivering the project from concept stage to handover stage
- Determine with the EXCO the prioritized portfolio of projects, monitor and control of the projects
- Assist in managing the financial aspects of the project: budgeting, estimate to actual variance, capital project management, etc.
Qualifications:
- Masters or post grad qualification/ degree in Business management, business administration or engineering
- Project management certification or accreditation
- Engineering degree/diploma
