A well established Consulting Engineering firm specializing in the engineering, design, construction management, commissioning and project management of infrastructure, materials handling and processing plants within the Mining Sector has an opportunity for a Construction Manager

Role Synopsis

  • Manage project delivery according to Project Management Office policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Manage project audits with regards to policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Ensure that the project is compliant within the legal framework established.
  • Ensure compliance in terms of Framework regarding contractual issues.
  • Manage customer and client relationship (external, internal, and cross discipline interfaces).
  • Governance with regards to Construction Management
  • Report on own Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Experience

  • 8 to 10 years of Construction management experience in heavy industrial environmental, preferably in the construction and mining industry
  • Min. 1 to 3 years in Project management
  • Min. 8 years exp in construction & engineering environment
  • Min. 5 years leading cross functional teams.
  • Min. 5 years working with EPC/M.

Qualifications:


  • Relevant Construction/Technical Qualification


  • Advantage

  • South African Council for Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP)
  • Construction Management Qualification NQF Level 5
