Responsibilities:


  • Investigate & correct discrepancies whereby deriving root causes & preventative measures.
  • Perform cyclic stock checks.
  • Assist in offloading/loading of stock.
  • Assist in General Housekeeping Tasks
  • Responsible for demarcated aisles
  • Stock replenishment.
  • Housekeeping projects.
  • Have good product knowledge. (Advantageous)
  • Any other ad hoc duties that is required by operations
  • Good understanding of supply chain procedures.
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Above average command in at least English and one other official language
  • Ability to work both in a team and independently.
  • Ability to work overtime, as and when required due to operational requirements.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills to improve on service delivery.
  • Willingness to learn, improve & adapt.
  • Be in excellent health.

Minimum qualifications:


  • Grade 1
  • Minimum of 12 years' experience as an Inventory/Stock Controller.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy
  • Be able to lift and unpack heavy boxes.
  • SA Citizen, valid ID, and no Criminal Record
  • Must be willing to work overtime when required.
  • Must have a valid hyster license.
