ACADEMIC COORDINATOR (TEACHING & LEARNING): THREE YEARS (1 POST)

PIETERMARITZBURG CAMPUS

The incumbent in the post of Coordinator Teaching and Learning will be a permanent serving member of
academic staff in the School of Management, IT & Governance based on Pietermaritzburg campus. S/he, will
provide academic leadership in all aspects of teaching and learning of both the mainstream and SFTP
programmes within the school. S/he will also be responsible for the administrative processes relating to the
portfolio as set out in the respective job description. S/he will also be responsible for the administrative

College Dean:
Teaching and
Learning. The incumbent will report to the Dean and Head of School. The prospective applicants should
provide a motivation of how they are suited for the post advertised

Minimum Requirements:

Doctoral degree at the level of Senior Lecturer or above
Performing at or above the norm of expectation at the level of appointment
Demonstrated excellence of scholarship of Teaching and Learning
Familiarity with UKZN research policies
Experience in development and/or management of academic programmes
