The School of Physiology is a vibrant, productive, research-orientated School in the Faculty of Health Sciences.

We are looking for someone to join our team of academic staff to engage in research and teaching, particularly to medical, dental and allied health sciences students.

Position:

LECTURER

Duties:

Teaching of physiology and/or medical biochemistry to under
- and postgraduates in the health sciences, development of an active research programme, supervision of MSc and PhD degrees and participation in all academic activities of the School, including administrative tasks.

_Qualifications and Experience_:

Applicants with a PhD degree in physiology or a related field, experience in teaching physiology to health science students, and evidence of the ability to carry out and publish research in any of the following areas: pain, sleep, neurophysiology, movement physiology, cardiovascular physiology, metabolism, inflammation and molecular physiology will be advantages.
