Description
Qualifications and Experience:
Applicants must have completed a PhD in English Studies or related fields (e.g. English Literature, Applied English Language Studies, or Linguistics, etc.).
Duties:
The successful applicant will be expected to design curricula, develop course material, and lecture courses that develop reading and writing skills to enhance critical literacy at undergraduate level in the faculty.
In their teaching, the appointee should be able to draw on a variety of texts and interdisciplinary methods used in literary and textual study.
The appointee will also be expected to engage in various academic administration duties, work independently and in a team, provide postgraduate support, as well as oversee a cohort of tutors.
