Key Outputs

Ensure improved product health for all products in area of responsibility
Provide support for new product introduction
Present product issues to management
Compile informative product issue reports and address to Service Engineering and management
Provide expert technical support for Warranty resolution and 1hour training sessions
Ensure effective selfmanagement and performance ownership
Ensure resolution of product issues according to Service Letter guidelines
Develop and maintain a list of key accounts, Perkins dealers and customers. Make dealer calls; submit

copies of call reports, establish good professional relationship with dealers and assure that they receive and

are using the materials and programs necessary to promote Perkins in the relevant segments

Provide sales training for All Perkins dealers, conduct sales presentations; communicate and provide

guidance to other dealership departs as required, coordinate and attend local shows. Communicate dealer

standards and technical updates

Maintain good relationship with Principals
Perkins brands
Be able to travel to territories

Qualification, Experience and Competencies

Qualified Artisan. [Mechanic in relevant trade (e.g. Diesel Mechanic) with minimum 5 years postapprentice/learnership experience]
Demonstrated practical and theoretical training skill
Sound interpersonal relationship skills
Computer Literate (MS Office, SIS ET & SPI EST)
Trouble shooting, problem solving and failure analysis skills
Applicable product knowledge / Perkins knowledge preferable
4000 Series knowledge
Familiar with the use of Service Technician Workbench
Power Generation
Valid passport
