My Client in the Security Industry is looking for a seasoned and qualified Locksmith, with 8-10 years of a proven track record ,to join their growing team in Cape Town, Central.

Must be a member of (LASA) and registered with PSIRA

Description:
Locksmith Services Scope of Work / Requirements

The Locksmith will be required to attend to any emergencies related to locks or new installations as and when reported or required.

This will be applicable to all buildings/facilities, Infrastructure or Equipment.

Type of Locks

Padlocks
Combination Locks
Deadbolt Lock
Cylinder Locks
Rim Locks
Mortise Locks
Euro Locks
Lever Handle Locks
Knob Locks
Electronic Lock

3. Applicable Standards
The installation or replacement will be executed in accordance with the following standards:

a. SANS 4:2008

4. Other Requirements

The locksmith must be available on 24/7 basis to attend to any emergencies or urgent requests.
The Locksmith to be a member of Locksmith Association of South African (LASA) regulated by Act 56 of 200
The Locksmith to be registered with Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority
PSIRA as regulated by Act 56 of 200
The Locksmith must not have any criminal record or any pending investigation or criminal proceedings.
In case of missing key, the Locksmith should always provide a new key.
Proper and safe tools to be used at all times.
For new installations or replacements, the Locksmith to ensure that the works is inspected and signed off by the Campus Foreman before leaving the site.
No works should be executed or carried out without any signed and approved risk assessment where required.
No works should be executed or carried out without any signed permit from the Maintenance Team where required.
The Locksmith should always be in possession of the Health and Safety file in order to comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act of 1993 Glazing Installation Regulations requirements where required.
